Why are non-standard cutting tools important?

Standard tools are aimed at the cutting of ordinary metals or non-metals, which account for most of the workpiece. However, when the workpiece is heat-treated and the hardness increases, or the workpiece is stainless steel, which is quite sticky, or the workpiece is quite complicated in geometry, or high surface requirement is needed, standard tools cannot meet the need, and non-standard tools must be designed and used under these circumstances.
